Whatever chance Sinton had of slipping up on Burnet was erased by the site-selection fiasco.

Burnet will be highly motivated.

Burnet Fans might be upset with site selection but at least u didnt have to go and play in the valley. If sinton coaches wanted im sure we could have made yall travel to Brownsville and play us. HMMMM now that would be a trip!!!!! :D Good Luck to both teams but we will needed more

Burnet will be highly motivated. And Sinton will have nothing what-so-ever to lose. It's fun being the underdog for a change. wink

Site-selection fiasco? Guess it depends on what side of the fence you're on. Trust me, it's not the end of the world, it will keep spinning even though you did not get what you wanted.

Burnet will be highly motivated.how was that a fiasco? just because people on this board did not know the facts? playing close to sinton was the correct call since the two teams played in san marcos last year ... i doubt the team will use how the game site was selected as motivation, thats kinda lame ... by the way, i believe burnet wins easily

"people on this board did not know the facts?" --3afan

Not knowing the facts is a common affliction in these parts.

Read the thread, "Where will Burnet play Sinton?"I assume you mean "Where will Burnet & Sinton Play?" ... OK, that basically makes my point ... it appears that after the burnet/wharton game the site was selected per the proper process and that misinformation and uncertainty was rampant in that post ... thats not unusual in these situations ... you said "Whatever chance Sinton had of slipping up on Burnet was erased by the site-selection fiasco.", thats what I was asking you to clarify and why was the site selection a fiasco?

I'm guessing you didn't read the entire thread.

No. I'm mad because we're having to play in your back yard.

but its obvious you know how the process works. no one did anything wrong. no one did anything bad or evil.

It's a done deal, folks. Show up or don't, your choice.

Not bad. Not evil. Not wrong in a moral sense.

Just selfish. And inconvenient for a large amount of people.

I disagree that the point of selecting a site is to fenegle some advantage for your team. The point is to find something that's fair. San Antonio was fair to both schools. But Sinton wanted an advantage, and they got lucky on the toss.

I don't think they'll be as lucky Friday night.
