Just see Charles Rixey and his Top 100

It's gonna be a dogfight to get out of that Region again....

Giddings realized it with the murderous row of playoff opponents they had last year...

Liberty Hill survived and won State...

Looking forward to another great year of Football...

the same is normally true with both 2A and 3A

Now that Celina is in 3A, region 3 has been dominant in both divisions.

In all eight state championship games the bobcats played in, a region 3 team was the opponent

1974-Big Sandy (0-0)
1995-Alto (32-28)
1998-Elysian Fields (21-0)
1999-Elysian Fields (38-7)
2000-Mart (21-17)
2001-Garrison (41-35)
2005-Omaha/Naples Paul Pewitt (28-12)
2006-Liberty Hill (19-22)

Region III is where the most competition is at. Region II is abysmal in the DII bracket and the D1 bracket, as stacked as it is in the region, isn't enough to propel it past Region III overall. So many very, very good teams in districts 17-24.
