I posted my opinion on some of the 3A ranking
I get 47 PMs of how Im hating on them
people go nuts these days
now Im also accused of other things
Look Ive seen a lot in my time
more than many on here
probably maybe 10% of the people on here would know a
3 from a 4
bracket coverage vs zone
when to run a zone or a stretch
when to be in a one weak or a 3
or what plays to call inside the 10 vs a ram wide tackle 6 slant D
ect....ect...ect

When I was growing up football was so easy.

Ball Carrier
1 = QB
2 = right running back
3 = fullbcack
4 = left running back

Hole to run to
1, 3, & 5 were the gaps left of the center between the center/guard, guard/tackle & tackle/end

2, 4, & 6 were the gaps right of the center between the center/guard, guard/tackle & tackle/end


You always ran 1 back and one hole. 24 was the right running back through the hole between the right guard and right tackle;etc, etc, etc.

Take me back to the good old days.

Oooooh, that reminds me. I was cleaning my desk the other day and noticed 3 or 4 teams were "left out" a few weeks ago when I did my rankings. With this fact and since I've now got my handy DCTF to refer to, I need to "rethink" them. :devil: :devil:

Dude, winning seven or eight in South Texas is about as impressive as winning four in Central Texas. I don't have to have graduated from a school like Daingerfield to still know about high school football. Hailing from a town that ignores academics and focuses entirely on football or athletics doesn't mean you have a PhD in high school football.
