Interview Logan....one of the questions needs to be "Rumor is that one of your 8th grade coaches, Coach Ragsdale, was very instrumental in you becoming the QB you are today. I know that your dad was your head coach but let's be honest here, Ragsdale is the reason why you are now a D-1 quarterback right?"

does anyone even care about the Oil Bowl? besides the participants & their families & friends?

why is this even played - is it a big charity fund raiser or something? its certainly not an event hoping to get kids scholarships since most are already headed here or there ....

no offense to anyone, just wondering ...

Its a big fund raiser for the Shriners. Good cause but outside from that and other than being an honor to be selected, I dont know why. Injuries etc...

The Oil Bowl like the Bayou Bowl is a fundraiser....I even think the THSCA All-Star Game is a fundraiser...

What I like best about the Oil Bowl is the fact that it is a real game and there is a genuine dislike between the two teams....

fundraiser, cool

one of our local fastpitch umps is the referee in the game, we sure could use him today (8U machine-pitch nationals in Mesquite)
