Are any of you good at....

telling me how to re-connect a computer to my network. I am typing on the one that is connected to the router, but the message I am getting on the computer that is disconnected is.....

Local Area Connection
Network Cable Unplugged, Firewalled
SMC EZ card 10/100PCI (SMC1211...




Any suggestions?:)

Go to the Control Panel
Network Connections
And make sure you didn't accidently disable anything

And if that doesn't work
then I don't know what to do

The network connections screen is where I am getting the message above...it shows the Local Area Network 4 as connected and the wireless network connected, but the wording in the 3rd little box is the one I typed.

I might need to call in a pro, but I do appreciate your response.:)

Try right clicking on the connection and select repair.
