The 6'7" girl dunker/Baylor commitment

Baylor landed an oral commitment last weekend from a 6-7 center with an 80-inch wingspan who wears size 17 shoes.

And she can dunk like you won't believe.

Shawn Bradley was 7'6" and I'm not sure he could dunk!

But yeah, you would generally think a 6'7" person should be able to dunk!

I've seen her play as she is from the Houston Area (Aldine). She is very skinny, & I mean very skinny. I was not impressed other than her height. Just taller than everyone else but not very skilled at this time. Maybe she will develop into something, but she will get pushed around big-time as she is right now. We'll see what Kim Mulkey can do with her...

As the old saying goes, you can't teach height. She has that & little else right now.

When Griner arrives at Baylor for the 2009-2010 season, her father expects her to be at least 6-10 or 6-11. That would easily make Griner one of the biggest players in the Big 12 and women's basketball.

What are they feeding her? Miracle Grow?
