I know that you're just kidding, but when you can be a collegiate player, then you can criticize a team, but until you know what it takes, then don't disrespect anyone.

The problem I have with Clemson's unis is the Mix and Match quality...

Try the "Mix N Match" machine...

Personally, I don't think you have to have played college football to know what a bad college football team looks like.

Since Adidas outbid Nike for provider of TAMU's gear, please give me a review of what you have seen so far. Bill Byrne has ties with them going back to his Nebraska days, so I am skeptical. Any info. would be appreciated.

Nike had finally gotten the "maroon" right after many tries at it, i.e. crimson or scarlet colors, not maroon as is the school's primary color. I wish we had stayed with Nike. Hope I am wrong.

Once again, you're too ignorant to take things for face value and try to twist them into something they're not. What I actually said was I don't appreciate someone who hasn't played a down of varsity football trying to teach me the ins and outs of the game. Also, I was being very facetious with my previous post, and if you don't know what it means, you can always Google it.

The jersies are similar to the ones we had last year, but the pants are white with two maroon stripes surrounding a white stripe down the side of the leg, totally old school looking. Not a big fan of them personally. Byrne asked Nike to give us the same amount of gear they were giving Texas, and Nike told us that we weren't up to the same athletic caliber that Texas was, so Byrne told them to shove it, rightfully so, as we proved that we are just as good as Texas is and we're getting better ever year.

Thanks for the info. Those sound a lot like Nebraska's pants (but maroon stripes not red) that Adidas switched them into when they signed with them. People hated them & let the NU/Adidas people know it. I believe they are back wearing all white pants again.

Adidas is doing that to accentuate their 3 stripe logo IMO. I guess I will reserve judgement, but very skeptical. I like the traditional TAMU look personally. I had heard a similar story about Byrne's dealings with Nike. Thanks again.
