We have four peach trees and this is the haul from today. Anyone want any peaches? :D

What I want to tell you is you can supply the peaches and I'll supply the cream, but I think I'll just keep that one to myself. :)

But I will say that those peaches look good. I'm still waiting on mine to get a little bigger. Those and my lemons.

since you mentioned peaches - here's one our neighbor picked a couple of weeks ago....... kinda odd looking isn't it? We usually make about 24 jars of peach preserves but we were pre-occupied mid may and didn't have time to make the preseves, so we just blanched them, peeled them and then cut them up and froze them - Has anyone made peach preserves with peaches that have been frozen? I don't know why it wouldn't be just as good....... Anyway - just wanted to share this odd looking peach :D

Rita - that's ALOT of peaches - what you gonna do with them all?

Hey....I want some peaches. I love peach cobbler.

Guess that means I would have to find a good recipe and then cook it....I think I still remember how to turn on the oven.;)

We have 2 trees that should be just right in the next couple of days. Maybe I can make a trip out to AP sometime next week. ;)

If you come to Cuero, I'll trade you some vine ripe tomatoes for peaches ;) That's the shame about fresh veggies - seems everyone has them all at the same time - and in 2 weeks - no one will have any :( Had some fresh corn on the cob the other night - OMG it was soo good

I planted a peach tree this year and it produced one peach. Just when it was getting ripe a Mockingbird ate it. I know they are the state bird and all but they can be annoying. They wont leave my cats alone. They have been dive bombing my cats since spring. Its funny to watch until my cats come home from prowling at night at 630 am and I get woken up by the sound of screaching Mockingbirds outside my window.
Anyone know how to keep them from eating my fruit? I have a mango thats almost ripe so I have been keeping an eye on it.
