I dont know how far but I know at least 11 weeks out of the 16 weeks of the season, I make between 5-8 hour drive for a game. Alot of sleeping in parking lots and rest areas and BIG gas bills.

You mean Calallen vs. Hebron? :)

Despite the whoopin' Hebron put on us, I don't think they are Trinity caliber yet

Adidas...what were you doing in Corpus and why did you head to Abilene?

The longest I have travelled for the SOUL purpose of watching TXHSFB is to Round Rock for that game against Hebron.

I've combined football with longer trips to other areas, just as something to do, however...

And I've travelled further for college games (Alabama @ LSU 2007, a lot of UT games, sevaral trips to the Cotton Bowl...once to the Rose Bowl...)

No, it was Hebron, but they had plenty of talent on that team...someone told me they had like 8 D-1 players or something

I lived in Corpus from Dec 94 to Dec 95. We went back to see Cooper play Odessa Permian (50-20 loss) and then back for the absolute beating that FM Marcus gave them (41-7) in the 3rd round of the playoffs. My older brother stayed with some friends and Abilene for his senior year at Cooper...so we had gone back to see those games.

The Colony to Eldorado (Eldorado and Sonora)
Denison to Houston (Denison and La Marque)
The Colony to Baytown (Jasper and Waller)
The Colony to Silsbee (Jasper and Liberty)

The back to back days are the hardest on me.

The Colony to Silsbee (Jasper and Liberty) to Jasper on Friday followed by Jasper to Marshall (Paul Pewitt and Garrison) to Gladewater (Elysian Fields and Quitman) and home to The Colony on Saturday.

Desoto to Bryan (Jasper and Manor) and back to Desoto on Friday followed by Desoto to Sweetwater (Sonora and Holliday) and home to The Colony on Saturday.

For one complete year I drove from houston to every single Rockdale game, then the year after that I drove from Nacogdoches to every Rockdale game. Some in Rockdale, and some on the Road. Other than driving to watch my brother play I havent driven too far. Maybe nacogdoches to gilmer to watch them play Tatum.

  Don't you remember???? The LH/Giddings game lasted a tad longer than anticipated (in part due to a....uhm.... "delay" in the 3rd qtr). Casey rode with his dad TO the game, then his dad left and he was going to ride home with T. When we finally got to see the boys after the game, we decided the Sweetwater game would be mid-3rd qtr or later when we could get there. So.....Casey begged for food and we ate in Leander. Then, it became THE night after they left for Rockdale.

It was San Benito @ Weslaco on a Thursday. They were playing for the district championship. Great game.

The next night I saw Hidalgo @ Port Isabel. A one-sided game.

Then Saturday night in San Antonio for Macarthur @ Madison, another great game, followed by a long drive back home.
