Should Navasota be concerned about C-Town in 2 weeks???????? Could make a mess of things, huh?Sure would. It would send Bellville to DI. But the bright side would be that the rest of us very likely would get to see one heck of a game in the DI semis between Burnet and Bellville. It would settle the question about who's #1 this year. I believe Bellville could beat Burnet. I bet'cha Burnet wants Navasota to win against Columbus so the path to state is smoother. [Now let's see how long it takes for the Burnet folks to jump in here and refute all I just said (they seem soo sensitive to the idea any team could challenge them this year).] With Gainesville looking so good and Forney really hungry for a state title (may be last year at 3a level...a do or die year for the Jackrabbits) DI would be very tough with Bellville thrown into the pot.
