Fried Shrimp (and Fish)
4 eggs – beat well (beat eggs before adding milk)
1 can evaporated milk (large)
1 can water (large)
½ cup salt
¾ cup pepper

Dip shrimp in batter. Put in strainer. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
Roll in cracker meal.
Fry.
Use same recipe for fish, but roll in cornmeal.


Fried Onion Rings
4 eggs - beat well
1 can evaporated milk (large)
1 can water (large)
1 pound sugar

Stir. Put onions in strainer. Pour batter over onions.
Let drain 5 to 10 minutes.
Roll in flour. Cook in 350 degree oil until brown.


Tartar Sauce
1 onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic chopped
1 cup sweet pickle relish
¼ cup stuffed olives chopped
1 - 2½ oz. jar chopped pimentos
¾ roll Ritz crackers crushed (28 crackers)
5 saltine crackers crushed
3 – 5 jalapeno peppers finely chopped (seeded)
1/8 teaspoon curry powder
2 cups Kraft or Hellmann’s Mayonnaise

Here's another suggestion. Instead of rolling the battered shrimp in cracker crumbs, mix up a small bottle of Lemon Pepper Seasoning in a two pound bag of yellow cornmeal and roll them in that, then fry. mmmmmm good!

My dad has a sauce he makes to put on grilled shrimp... talk about yummy yummy yummy.. I have not found ANYBODY who cooks better grilled shrimp than my pops

:mad: Shut up! ya'll making me hungry, and Fish and Schrimp's r my favorite dish in the whole world, try wrapping some bacon around the shrimp, and adding a Jalopena, and cheese inside of the Schrimp's, now u r talking.
