Maybe not you, but a lot of us South Texas folk were pulling for these guys in the tournament.

This is Moody's first year to play in 4A. They have always had 4A numbers but the Corpus Christi ISD made them and Miller stay in 5A. I would venture to say Moody would have won the 5A championship this year.

Moody defeated Cy-Fair in a tournament earlier this year. C-F never lost another game the rest of the season(27 straight)

I really think that maybe the 4A State Champinship may have been decided during the Moody vs Calallen series.

I think you're probably right. Moody only lost three games all year, and two of those three were to Calallen.
