did you signup an account? If you play as a guest it gives you the beginner clubs...which is a LOT different (not necessarily easier) than playing with the pro clubs.

220 is pretty good. Also...the scores don't matter. As long as your team has 6 guys that have played a round then you're registered for all prizes...

yeah I definitely like our chances.

I decided to put on my nerd glasses :nerd: and create screenshots of how i'm setting up each shot. That way we can all discuss what does/doesn't work for each one of us and try to lower our score even more. I'll post them when I have a chance...

I think that the 1st place team is the same guy playing under 6 names...notice how low all 6 scores are and then the 7th and 8th place scores are much higher.

This one is easy to score well on. I use the PW at full strength, pull the impact point on the ball about 3/4 of the way down, and aim just left of the pen.

I aim right at the flag, drop the impact point as low as possible, and move it forward in my stance. The "key" to this shot is how much power to use. I "cheat" and go just a little bit past where the grass changes to a lighter green. If you don't move the ball forward in your stance then you shouldn't have a problem getting it inside 10-15 ft. However...I can never get it inside 3 or 4 ft unless I move it forward in my stance to generate the backspin.

I hate this hole. I always end up in the bunker or right of the green. I came up with a solution for me though. I aim right of the pin (I think there's a tree that I line up on but you can't see it in the picture). Next, instead of trying to hit right in the center of the marks, I focus my eyes on one mark to the left. That way, if I'm late I'll hit it straight but if I catch the right mark then I'll draw it around the bunker and onto the green. Hit about 1/2 way down on the ball with full power.

This hole is strange. If you miss the contact point to the left...your ball will go straight at the hole. I would think that the slope would force you to play to the right to compensate...but what do I know. Nothing to crazy here. I hit where you see the rough line on the ball, full power, sometimes aim a bit to the right.

Another odd hole. I aim somewhere between the green and the water. I then move it all the way forward in my stance and hit at the lowest point of the ball. I'll hit this one pretty close to full strength.

I'm not all that comfortable on this hole. I usually club up, aim right along the water line, ball forward in my stance, and hit at full power at the lowest point of the ball. If struck well I can get it to 15-20 ft. If I hit it off at all though then I end up 30-40 ft.

Full 8 iron. Aim a little right of the hole and hit it just below the center of the ball. A little less than full power (about 85-90%).

Like #6, I'm still not sold one particular shot. I'll hit anything from the 8 iron with no adjustments to a 6 iron with the ball forward in my stance and hitting at the lowest point of impact. All of these shots I hit at full power. At best, I'll get one to 15 ft but typically 25-30 ft.

Dang Adidas, that some good analysis. I'm a bit embarrassed by my approach as it's pretty simple. I don't change anything, I just adjust how hard I hit the ball. I try to get the "Perfect Swing" each time, but I find in some cases it's better to be on one side or the other of the "Perfect Swing" mark. :)

Plus, I can finish a round in about 5-10 minutes.:D

haha...I've played some many rounds that I don't even think it takes me more than 5 minutes to get through.

yeah it takes up about 300 mb on my work computer to play it. You can also try turning down the graphics in the game.

That might work and it might not. I've only got 256 MB of RAM right now...I've got 2 GB headed my way and the UPS man should deliver it today.

I did get through 2 holes though and had a 69.93 so far.

I find that the best way to hit hole 3 is to hit down on the ball for higher loft and aim left of the hole depending on the wind. Power up almost all the way up and try to hit close as possible to the line on the down swing.
