There are 4 Minutes left in the State Semi-Finals, your team is behind bye 4 points, the ball is on the opponent's 49 Yard line.
What do you do, bye the way you are facing the #2 Defense in the state the score is 10-6.

I agree. If it was inches you need to go for it with the time left in the game. If it was fourth and two yards I would punt it and trust the defense to get the ball back to us in good field position. But inches with the time left is too close to take the risk. You might not get that opportunity again.

give the ball to Vince Young...

won't get the first down, but will atleast get the touchdown...

I don't care if it's the 4th Quarter or the First Quarter, I go for it. QB takes the snap then steps to the right, plunging through the line between right guard and right tackle. If he can't get through, he throws it wide to a wideout, who jukes the cover guy and goes for a touchdown.

In all honesty?

you have four minutes left, a great defense and hopefully a couple of timeouts, you'll get the ball back...

One wide-out set... play-fake, FB/TB block, TE blocks for two seconds then takes off down the middle and looks for a 10/15 yard pass... wide-out is going all of the way down... if your TE and receiver are covered well and the QB doesn't trust he'll make the first down on his feet, AIR THE BALL OUT to that wide-out... if he can't get it, hopefully the defensive back isn't thinking (which happens a lot) and picks the ball off, is tackled, and there's your punt...

Hope to God that the other team's defense is undisciplined an make them jump offsides.

i would probably punt it...if my defense is that good then i would trust them to make them punt it and give us good field position...
