If all A&M makes is the Insight Bowl, I'm going to go out on a limb and say there will be some very unhappy boosters in town and something might happen...

That is more like it! Maybe Notre Dame could finally win another bowl game.

i think west va. with what talent they have returning on offense, if they can go undefeated will make a push for the national title. Louisville should still be tough and we'll see how Rutgers answers their stellar season as well

I haven't heard anything about Hawaii. Are they really going to be this good?

good things

1. They have Colt Brennan (a Heisman favorite and one of the top NFL QB prospects) at QB. His 2006 #'s were:
2006 Season Stats:
Passing: 4,990 YDS | 53 TD
Rushing: 353 YDS | 5 TD
11 INT | 72.1 CMP%

2. They play in Hawaii. The long trip out there for opponents is always a huge advantage for them.

3. They have an easy schedule. Gone are the games @ Alabama (lost by 8), and facing Purdue (won by 7), Oregon St (lost by 3) and Arizona St (won by 17) at home in 2007. Instead, their non-conference games are Northern Colorado, Charleston Southern, and Washington at home. They also get Boise St @ home in late November after losing an early season game @ Boise by 7 last year.

bad things
1. They play in Hawaii. Very few of their games are seen here in the mainland.
2. They have a weak schedule. After beating some of the big conference teams last year...nobody wants to play them this year so they had to resort to some 1-AA schools that will result in 50 point blowouts.
3. They play in the WAC. Yes that got Boise St into the BCS last year...but unless Hawaii runs the table...they won't even be considered for a BCS game and instead will likely play in the Hawaii Bowl again.

Why would they? I am sure they don't wanna be put up against a team like Cal again and get hammered. I don't see a&m being #6 out of the big 12 though.

.

Unless a bunch of teams dropped, their schedule for 2007 was made way before last year and their results from last year has no bearing on who they play this year

If they don't have alot of major injuries like last year they will. They were 1 game away from making it last year

Who else would you take from the Big 12? Every other team is really iffy. Even they have questions, but not nearly as many as everyone else. So I take them by default.

the smaller schools only have games scheduled far in advance if they're playing bigger schools. They didn't even add Washington until January. Also, the WAC doesn't put out their schedules that far in advance like the major conferences. They didn't have their 2007 schedule finished until March 8th.

Almost every magazine has texas and louisville in the fiesta

pretty sure Texas will win the big 12 this year, since oklahoma is still questionable, A&M should be facing a healthy colt mccoy
