The Aggies will travel to Houston to play Rice. Will Rice get the win over the Aggies, or will the Aggies up-set the #1 team in the nation? This sould turn out to be a very good series. At least we know one Texas team will be in the final 8. Good luck to Jess Buenger from Bellville, who transfered from ATM to Rice after Childress came on as the Aggie new coach.

Rice allowed 4 runs in regionals....yup, just 4....they are darn good...in my opinion it would be a huge upset for the aggies to win that series in houston....

Rice is very good, but the Aggies are good also, this year the Aggies have beat Rice twice. Upset it will be if the Aggies beat #1.

When it comes to baseball hard to pick against Rice.

A&M's pitching has came on late in the season. You all know who I voted for...

Oh I voted for A&M because I'd rather them win but Rice is pretty good.

What are you taking, Calculus?

I took the first summer session off and the second I'm taking Personal Finance, get to learn how to balance a checkbook and such.

It wasn't that long ago that the Ags beat these same Rice Owls (who were the defending national champions) at Reckling when they hosted as the #1 seed and A&M was the #2 seed.

Baseball is a funny game.

Yeah, I'm taking Calculus 2....It pretty much sucks. I'm pulling an all-nighter, but since I've been studying pretty much for the last 6 hours, I'm going to take an hour or so break to clear my mind and watch some TV.

Jess Buenger will show Aggie coach Childress he is good enough to play in the Big 12 by helping Rice beat a Big 12 team!!!!!!!!!!

A&M beat Rice to advance & then got beat by LSU in the Supers. Rice is the favorite at home but A&M has beaten them twice in 2 tries this year (I saw the game at MMP). Should be a good series...Rice is darned good but A&M is playing well right now. It is 0-0 now of course.

from A&M site:
The Aggies are 51-47 all-time in the NCAA Tournament and will be making their third (1999, 2004, 2007) appearance in the Super Regional since the format changed in 1999. A&M failed to qualify for the NCAAs the last two years.

A&M has now appeared in 23 NCAA Tournaments. The Aggies have advanced to Omaha four times, the last being in 1999.
