I'm not sure of the amount of the raise he is getting in Coppell, but according to some numbers posted of last year's Texas AD's salaries he was only receiving around $70,000 here in Burnet. I'm sure the amount of raise is substantial and my guess it is easily over $90,000.00 in Coppell. Can't really blame the man for leaving for an apprx. 30% raise in pay and I'm sure the number is higher than that. I wish him well in Coppell and will now keep up with their program. What is their mascot? I'm sure even with the low pay in Burnet, the tradition alone should garner some very qualified applicants....:cool:
