It always drives me crazy when a team at any level intentionally walks someone! I always cheer for the next batter!

The BC announcers were questioning why it was done, but I think BC coach thought they could get rid of Hart and Bronson in one move for the next inning, but it backfired big time.

Wow, 10 errors between both teams tonight. Simply amazing. Congrats to the Jasper Bulldogs on the Game 1 Win! Errors for both teams were costly it sounds, but in the long run, the BC errors allowed Jasper to get the runs in when needed, and Jasper produced the hits when they were most important. Hopefully BC can come out to Game 2 and pull it off! Sounds like other than the errors, was a GREAT game!

Just heard that! Sounds like he kept BC off balance since coming in to pitch! Whichever team ends up in Round Rock, can NOT have this kind of game (errors) - It's really unheard of to have that many E's in a Regional final.

Either way - Sets up for a great Game 2 tomorrow! Hopefully my BC Cards can pull Game 2 to force a deciding game 3! Either way, whoever wins, will rep 21-3A and SE/E Texas! That's really all that matters!

The errors and the pitching by Jasper's relief pitcher made the biggest difference. Coach Bryant called a great game. With a big lead and facing a hot #1 hitter, the intentional walk was good strategy. This is baseball and stuff happens.

Sounds like it was a sloppy game. I'm glad my dogs came out on top, but both teams will have to play better ball in the future if they want to win it all.

Jasper played fine. They had 4 errors but the field contributed to that somewhat. On one play the outfielder just lost his footing and the ball came out and BC scored a run. Throw over to first by the pitcher for error and one from third base, and the other from short I believe. They settled down after the 2nd inning and played fine.
