We're thinking about getting Rio cut for the summer. He gets really itchy, dry patches near his "hiney" area and rubs them raw. Does you dog ever get scaly patches of dry skin this time of year?

I don't think so, he will be swimming daily probably though

do you think Rio's coat is too short to have him cut? I don't think his hair is nearly as long as your dog's was:thinking:

oh yea - Rusty's coat was alot longer than Rio's I guess we'll just leave Rio like he is.

I don't know if you can go any shorter on a Lab.

Since Rusty is a Golden Retriever, he probably appreciated the hair cut!
