BREAKING NEWS!!!!! Snyder to play Marlin in....

Sweetwater!

The Snyder/Marlin game originaly scheduled for Gordon Wood Stadium in Brownwood had been rescheduled and will be a part of the Sammy Baugh Classic. The 2 teams played there last year as a part on the Gordon Wood Classic.

The game will be the 3rd of a triple header on Saturday September 15, 2007. A Big Country Youth game will be played bright and early that morning, with Decatur/Sweetwater to kick off at 1:00 pm. Snyder/Marlin will kick off at 6:00pm.

The Roscoe Plowboys will play Christoval at 7:30 on Friday September 14th.

I disagree..IMO the DCTF Classic has never intrigued me with the match ups..but some of the other ones have

That's cool....much easier/cheaper to drive to Sweetwater than it is Brownwood.

True....and you will be hard pressed to find two good matchups back to back during week 2 at one venue! There should be great crowds for both games!

We will welcome you with open arms!!.....I am really pleased that both schools agreed to play in the TSTC West Texas Sammy Baugh Classic!

Snyder has Big ties to the Baugh family... and I called a former coach a while ago (who happens to be Sammy's son)....and he he happy the Tigers are a part of the Classic!

I think it will be a great weekend of football, that is in the name of one of the greatest!

It will be more than just football, it is tribute to a MAN that changed football one play at a time!

I haven't seen a schedule yet...if it's in Abilene, she could probly make the 2 nd game..Time will tell!

OK, I saw the schedule from their website:

Sept. 15 Louisiana College * Pineville, La. 6 p.m.

If the band travels, it looks like she will be "away" that day..:( :(
