People really don't understand us well. We expect to win. The motto for next year is FINISH. Now if somebody else expects us to win that is fine by us but it will not stop the dedication and desire to put our hearts on the line for another season. We did run the table in 2a and got some of the same kind of attention. It did not stop us then. It will not now. The only thing that will stop us is somebody better. And that is honorable and we have no problem with that at all. We are not conceited or arrogant. We just keep winning.

The majority should not be judged based on a vocal minority! Do you really think all of Sinton wants to be judged based on your actions? ;)

Well with 133 and 5 record since 98 and the most wins of all schools in the state the last 20 years it kind of bears out. I also for the record meant that the boys are not arrogant nor conceited. We have fans that are well pretty bad.......:D

Uh no. We had a weak district, weak playoff schedule and every week it was we should have lost or had not played anybody. And in the finals game it was close. I loved the LH boys. Great game. The state title could not have gone to a better bunch unless of course it went to us. ANd it was close to going the other way.

Last year Celina had 3-3 starters returning and was moving up a classification

suffice it to say, we were not favorites

that's why Butch Ford was the 3A coach of the year in some publications

In all seriousness, our achievement in 2007 was a blessing. Congrats again to Liberty Hill. Their are way too many good teams out there. I'll certainly not make the mistake of overlooking anyone. Let the games begin!

Oops! I guess we shouldn't hand the trophy over to Liberty Hill yet...However, I certainly think they should be the favorites this year.

I will tell you that is a hat full of wisdom about being under the radar. When Robinson wanted to play us at the beginning of the year and we won easily I thought they must not be as good as they thought they were cause they sought us out. And I told anybody who would listen that the team that bothered me most in the playoffs was LH.

As far as the state game predictions, I said the Celina D would hold them to 21 points then it would be a defensive problem for LH. And I tell you now Mom after you have a title under your belt, no one looks past you next year. In fact, many circle the calendar and say we are going to win this one if nothing else. We have 2 or 3 teams up here in our district that are good but not great and they always make us their super bowl.

I can't wait for it to start. Liberty Hill under what radar? Doppler is about the only one I know. Are we gonna win it? With luck and preparation we could, but these are high school young men. We will make a run at it and if we get the chance, we would like a rematch. It would take a lot of luck on both sides. Way too many games on both sides. It would be like hittin' the lottery with all the varibles. That young team lost those 3 starters on each side this year. Our backfield returns as does our line except for the tackles. I like our chances as good as anyones. I wouldn't pick against us. :D
