I'd like to pick Utah, but I have to be realistic. Spurs win.

Was flipping through the channels and didn't realize this game was on espn. Saw Manure do another patented flop and draw a tech on Fish. Good to see that absolutely nothing has changed with the WWE's officials. I guess the icing on the cake is Sloan getting tossed. Gosh this league is a joke. It's slowly but surely dragging itself down to the level of the NHL.

What's wrong with the NHL?

The NHL is a niche sport. The NBA is well on its way to being on that same level and that's a shame.

Didn't watch long enough to see Fish get tossed. I flipped the channel after I saw Sloan get escorted out. Not shocking though when I take into account that Javie was one of the officials tonight from what I saw. Should be an interesting week of spin control from Vince McMahon's protege on how they justify employing Javie if nothing else!

The fans have every right though to show their frustration when they see a good guy like Fish get tossed along with Sloan. The league has denigrated down back to where it was about 30-35 years ago when the Finals were shown on tape delay.

the 'good guy' crossed the line ........ and "fans have every right though to show their frustration" ??? does that include throwing objects onto the court?

Can you imagine how far Ginobli would fly if Cheap Shot Bob played for the other team and gave him the Steve Nash treatment? He'd probably land in the upper deck.:p :p :p

its amazing to me how these NBA refs can't spot the floppers, no matter what team they are one ...

Actually, there were a couple of flops that were no calls.

The thing is, the Spurs are the absolute best in the league at going to the hole and drawing contact. There are going to be games where the officiating looks out of whack, but you have to give them credit. They force the issue and put the pressure on the officials. Pop is the best coach in the NBA, period.

Well , Fisher won't get fined or suspended by the nba for this because he did nothing wrong ( the acting job by Manu ). The ref didn't see that right and i'm not a Jazz or Spurs fan wrong is just wrong IMO.

Actually, when I saw the replay it did appear to me Fisher intentionally bumped into him. He looked out of the corner of his eye at Manu and then veered in his direction. Manu did sell it a bit and I don't think it warranted a technical, but I do think it was intentional.

If Horry got suspended two games this one should at least be one game. But I bet the NBA does nothing. Double standards.

Remember people, Fisher and Horry played for the same team, the Lakers. That's where both of them learned all their dirty little tricks. Horry plays for the Spurs now, doesn't mean I like him or that he's all of a sudden turned into a clean player.

I feel you, but I can completely see where it comes from. As a Spurs fan, we hear more (far more) from Mavs fans than any other fans. It may be an unfair label, but it's a stereotype that was based on the huge number of Mavs fans that take pot-shots at the Spurs every chance they get.

But that's just the nature of a rivalry. You can say you're rooting for the other team until you're blue in the face, but most people still hate their rivals when they're not in front of a keyboard.

And sorry for the roasting, JR. I know your least-favorite team is actually Boston.

I am a Spurs fans but I admit the officials made some bad unnecessary calls in the fourth quarter. I don't know if it would have affected the outcome of the game but it could have been one of those down to wire last second type of things.

Well, there were at least two times I remember Parker going to the hole and ending up on the floor and there was no call.

As I said earlier, the Spurs are the best at attacking the basket so they put pressure on the officials. If they are on their game, they are going to go to the line a lot!

And that is the truth. You can't blame the refs for that Jazz fans.

You have to admire the Jazz fans because even in their displeasure and anger they were in good sportsmanship yelling "Refs Good Luck!"
