If Texas wins their regional and end up at least a #8 seed, they will host a super regional at Whataburger field in Corpus Christi.

Texas is the #4 seed so if they advance they will be in the top 8 remaining ...

will host in CC? really ..... Dell Dmnd must be being used by the Express ....

from texassports.com: "The winner of the regional in Round Rock will play the winner of the regional in Wichita, Kan., in a Super Regional at a site yet to be determined. The teams in the regional in Wichita include Arizona, New Orleans, Oral Roberts and Wichita State."

Texas played at Whataburger earlier in the year and said if they host a super regional they will have it at Whataburger because of renovations at Disch-Falk. It is certainly possible that Dell will be tied up that weekend, thinking that would be the high school state tourney weekend?

At Disch-Falk, the college gets dibs, probably not at Dell.

I'll be there if my Pirates aren't at Dell that weekend.;) We've already heard tickets will be around $50 for the show.

SO The Aggies will have to face Rice in the Super Regionals? That sucks for those two schools and for the State Of Texas.

IF they both win their regionals....Ohio State is a good team and could play with the Aggies but the Aggies will get the advantage of the Texas heat....TCU and Baylor are good teams that could beat the Owls one game, it will take a fluke to beat them twice i think though, however if one of them could beat them in the 2nd round who knows what can happen.....

There is a large standing room area as well as the burm. There were over 7,000 at the Moody/Calallen playoff.

Ticket sales in Houston for the all Texas Regional could be one of the best ever for a Houston Regional. Unfortunately, only one of Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU and Rice will be able to advance to the CWS, but the winner of this combo of super-regionals wouldn't have to face Texas, or Vandy until late at the CWS.
Should be an exciting few weeks.

I think Rice will take it but Baylor has been playing very well the past couple weeks, their number 1 recruiting class has grown up...it will be good experience for the future for sure, they are going to be up there the next couple years....The Aggies probably have the best shot to knock off the Owls in the super regionals but thats a tall task to do in Houston....

Baseball America has the Houston Regional as one of the tuffest....Rice, Baylor, and TCU are all really good teams....Prairie View is a dang good 4 seed as well that could beat any of the teams in the regional but don't have what it takes to win enough of the games to win it in my opinion....

LaLa is better than i thought apparantly...Ohio State had a really good big 10 tourney so I thought they might have gotten hot at the right time, but apparantly not....LaLa still has to win one more so we will see what happens tonight...

Baylor just collapsed against the horny toads in the 9th blowing a 5-3 lead by giving up 7 runs.....it was a train wreck...anyway TCU has a tall task to try and beat Rice twice in a row at Reckling....

Is LaLa still as exciting to watch as they were a few years back in the college world series? I remember them stealing home a couple times? If they were to get to Houston to play Rice they will have to play like that to beat them....oh well Geaux Cajuns!

Many were saying this team was as talented as the 2000 squad that made it to the CWS & finished 3rd. A&M is a good squad no doubt.... it's for all the marbles tonight!!! Geaux Cajuns!!!

My 3 favorite teams in college are as follows:

1. ULL - my alma matter (and former team)
2. TX A&M - grew up an Aggie fan (it's hard for me to pull against them)
3. Who ever plays LSU!!!

Who ever wins will get my support to win it all!
