Lamar University in Beaumont. Thur. 7PM Fri. 7 PM and Saturday 4 PM...3 game series.

Jasper was the district champion, with Bridge City as runner-up. Personally, I'm rooting for Jasper. However, with the recent deep-playoff experience of B.C., I'd have to give them the nod.

That A game would be something to see. Both teams seemed to have it this past week. :clap:

Everything seems to point to a BC win. One, BC is due now after losing twice to Jasper in district. Things are bound to start dropping BC's way. BC is HOT, just having knocked off the undefeated numero uno in Carthage.

On the other hand, BC gave Carthage its first loss playing in the Jasper stadium Thursday night. I think Jasper will tune in the BC mojo from the spirits left on the field, so I will go with my Jasper Dogs in three close, hard played games. ;)

Although I know virtually nothing about either team, one would think that if Jasper found a way to beat them twice already, they should be "up to the task" again. That said, however, anything can happen at this stage of the playoffs. Best of luck, and may the truly best team win.

Last year, Sinton beat Falfurrias in pre-district only to lose to them in the regional finals in a couple of rain messed games. We beat them in predistrict again this year, and are about to meet them in the R4 finals again. So, we have a chance of redemption. We'll see what happens. Hopefully, the best team will prevail in this one too.
