World's biggest wild hog killed by 11 year old with a pistol in Alabama. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,275524,00.html)

They strapped it to the fender of their Prius and drove home.

That's what I thought too! I'd hate to walk up near that thing...even if it was in a zoo!

Wonder what the average life span of a hog is?....and since this one was so big, does that make him really old?...and are there any nuclear power plants in the area?

So many questions....;)

With the pig finally dead in a creek bed on the 2,500-acre Lost Creek Plantation, a commercial hunting preserve in Delta, trees had to be cut down and a backhoe brought in to bring Jamison's prize out of the woods.
Looks like the kid gave animal lovers and tree huggers, reason to be pissed off at the same time!!

I think I would stand still, not breathe and pray really hard that a sow already had his nose's attention.

that's amazing, considering how dangerous a hog that size could have been

also considering the average pistol works best within a range of 25 yards, and that's incredible!

Exactly, a true wild or feral hog will never reach that size. I read on a rancher board that I'm a member of that it was raised as the kids pet and that the kid used to ride it around. These people are morons, its a freaking domestic hog !

I tried to post a link to an interview of this kid and his father, but I couldn't get it to work.

Neither he nor his Dad needs to be eating anymore sausage.

Here's a link (http://www.cnn.com/) to a page where you can click on the interview and watch it....goodness gracious!
