That's what I thought, I saw some Mineola people in a resteraunt last night. Definitely would of been rained out

Game 2: 1:00 Saturday at Forney HS
Game 3 (if nec.): 30 min. following Game 2

its been raining off-n-on all morning in Forney so its doubtful today - this may turn into a 1 gamer but ya never know

I heard Celina hit the ball really well today from someone who was there. At this point, every team has a chance and should be tough to beat.

Actual score was 5-1.

Freshman kid pitched for Celina. 1st start for him in the playoffs. He kept Mineola off balance all day. Gave up 3 hits, 14 K's.

Celina only got 5 hits but made some runs off of 2 Mineola errors.

GWOOD, we do have some good pitching.
And that will usually get you some decent results.

how great it is to have both our softball and baseball teams doing so well!

life is good in celina these days, especially with football season looming

too bad i can't be there to see it!

Celina wins game 2 by 2-1 and advances to the regional finals. Congrats bobcats!

Great pitching duel. Bidelman helps the cause with an RBI single in 4th. 2B McDougal and SS Adams both had to leave in the middle of the game with injuries.

Celina moves on to take Liberty-
Eylau/Commerce winner.
