It's been raining all morning in Orange Grove. Since right before daylight as a matter of fact. Lots of lightning and thunder, too.

In AP, the sky is dark and the wind is now coming out of the north. Just waiting on the rain...the sky is ominous.

Not sure how much it rained here but Alice had 4.51 in and George West had 2.32 in

This rain is really making me want to go home and do nothing....

not sure how much rain we have had so far, but the end doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight. Looks like a bunch of folks plans might be getting "messed with" for the holiday weekend...mine included.:(

I just saw on the news, that the Red Cross is opening up a shelter in Alice.

:eek: :eek: :eek: WHOA......they've had THAT much rain? It's been raining pretty steady here in Sinton since about 9:30 this morning.

Doesn't take much for it to flood in Alice, it's pretty flat country.

I just checked the local radar....looks like a bunch of the really heavy stuff is now over the Gulf.

It really is funny if you have ever watched anyone play...my husband tried the boxing game...I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.:cool:
