3223kbps my connections is split in to 3comps and wireless, dunno how much of that makes a difference. CABLE as well

mine is split to 2 computers thru a router. the other computer is running at 5167k. i think wireless does have a small effect. my daughter runs wireless at her house and it is just slightly slower than hardwired.

Grande runs fiber straight to the home, AT&T is slowly doing it as well.

They run it to a media converter more than likely. Then from that converter to a cable that goes into your house. Nonetheless it should be quicker. Now fiber straight to your desktop.... That is the ultimate way to go. Having a dedicated T1 for home Internet use is just crazy fast.

Having a dedicated T1 for home Internet use is just crazy fast. and in most cases unnecessary! lol my cable is plenty fast enough for what i need it for and probably fast enough for most people

I am running about 1.3 meg at home with
a 420 up. Not bad. It is more than fast enough that my old processer and lack of mem probably is slowing it down some.

Not too shabby. Not very accurate on the mileage though. 50 miles, Abilene to Ft. Worth?

Home Connection Speed. With 1 PC server, 1 normal PC, and my PS3. I have a D-Link 10/100/1000 Game Lounge Router. The PC I ran it off of has has a Gb NIC which is operationg at 1000 and seems to helps increase the speed a little more.
