I have Verizon for my home telephone service. All I use it for is local calls and to connect to the internet. I got my bill today and they are charging me $2.00 plus tax for a total of $2.42 for a "shortfall charge" on my long distance. In other words, since my long distance charges are less than $2, I have to pay $2 plus tax! derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
