I guess maybe his stats jsut got fat playing against crappy private school oponents in high school. I know I was one of the few that got caught up in the next Vince Young craze with this kid. Or is it his big head that is keeping him off the field? Work ethic?

It is a shame. I think he had the talent but it looks like he may have wasted it. He decided not to come to Texas and on his selection he said UT fans would get over it. Well he was right.

Hopefully he will turn it around before it is too late. He is still young.

He took a real gamble trying to get into a casino being underage.

I am not justifying what he did but it is strange that he can go to Iraq and die for his country but can't go to a casino.

But, since he didn't go to iraq, i have no pity for him

let him run through Ramadi for a couple of months and then i would let him gamble on a riverboat

in a related story, the marine corps has lowered the drinking age for Marines stopping in foreign ports, to 18

just happened this week

I agree with that actually. It would do no harm for him to go in and even drink. It does harm for him to get drunk and that would be his choice and he should pay the price. But IHMO, if you can die for your country you should certainly be allowed to live for it too. Life isn't fair, but it is fairer than death.
