I just love a bunch of them. Never could have a favorite.
But when he and ohara get together there are always sparks.
Mclintock and Silent Man will always be in mytop 10.

I liked the cowboys. That was on the other night. I just hate that the hero gets shot. But still a great movie. With a good cast to boot. Bruce Dern plays a very passable villain.

McLintock, Donovan's Reef and Hell Fighters are my favorites. It is hard to really name favorites because he made some really good ones.

A couple I will never pass by while flipping through the channels are In Harms' Way and They were Expendable.

So many great ones. Like the Comancheros and North to Alaska. Also Hatari was one of the best movies about catching animals for zoos ever made. It inspired the hit tv series Daktari.

I heard many of the rumprangers of the day were upset about Hudson's passing.

They never got a chance to get a "Piece of the Rock".

Seriously though, he did make some great movies, and was one heck of a good actor.

In Harms Way

The Searchers

Just watched some of "In Harms Way." Great movie with some great lines.

"There goes brave men in fast ships in harms way"

"All battles are fought by scared men who want to be somewhere else"

Big Jake. "If you ain't gonna respect your elders maybe you will respect your betters" "By all means I give you leave" "I thought you was dead" says Richard Boone, "Not hardly" says John Wayne. "Dog". Has to be number one.
