I love how Canyon's is down in a bowl. The soccer lines ruin the field though.

Texas Bob doesn't allow direct links. You have to save the picture to your harddrive then have it hosted on imageshack or photobucket. Watch out because some of them are copyrighted.

I think they play at both. I played a JV at in San Angelo against LV and it was one of the weirdest fields. There were goats and a horse behind a fence like 10 feet behind the endzone.

Canyon, Randall and WT do share the same field, but the field belongs to CISD, not WT anymore.

I have to prevent links. If I didn't all the links would use up my band width. That said if any of you ever want a copy of a stadium picture just drop me a line and I'll email it to you.

That is San Angelos ISD schools stadium Central and Lakeview
high. ASU does play here but lease from the ISD the university
does not own the stadium.
So I would say it does count. And you are right it does have turrf now. Very nice atmoshere.

i remember watching gwood get beat by merkel there my junior year had wilbur not got hurt thought i think that game might have been completly different. that was the year they beat us on homecoming and were number 7 i believe and they were number 3 i think in the state. probably the hardest fought game i ever played in. we put up 36 on offense that night and still lost

My rule for what counts is: "Does the varsity team play their regular season games there?" If they do, it counts, even if its Texas Stadium.

I disagree...I dont think Greenwood would have came back on Merkel even with a healthy Wilbur. Something happened to that Greenwood team during the season and they lost their luster. Merkel on the other hand was STARVING for a playoff win. What did Merkel jump out to, like a 19-0 lead? I remember their receiver beating a Greenwood defender for like a 70 yard TD and a fake FG going for a TD right before halftime. Sweetwater - Greenwood was also a great game that year. First time we lost a homecoming in like 20 years - Who in the heck put Greenwood on the schedule anyways...Homecoming is usually reserved for Pecos, Clyde, or Ft. Stockton in the old days.

we asked the same thing but all you can do is play the games offensivly it was our best game of the year 36 points and over 300 yards against a very good defense

I think that picture is from the game that was delayed by lightning for a while. That was the same night that Sweetwater and Vernon had to cancel their game because of the storms if I'm not mistaken.

I think it has been to an extent. Look at these pics from the same game and few pics you can see of the sky don't show those type of colors at all...

Wylie used to play Lakeview at their own stadium...not at the main SA Stadium. In 2004...LV moved their home games.

i would say it doesn't count becasue their is no school names, colors, or mascots anywhere at that place.....it's pretty much a "whoever has a game can play here" between ASU, LV, and SA Central.....i think for a stadium to qualify it has to represent the school....maybe the school colors in the endzone or the schoolname in the endzone or the first letter of the school name at the 50 yard line etc. etc. etc.......now i kno some poor po-dunk schools might now have that but they more than likely don't share it which voids my previous standard for what makes a stadium a certain schools
