Thanks to all!!
I plan on being in Austin unless LSU and/or Texas A&M make it to the World Series in Oklahoma City, then I may have to make a road trip there.

If I'm in Austin, the grill will be on and cooking for those who want to cook. I'm bringing an extra tank of propane!!

Thanks everyone!! I had more birthday wishes from you all than I had from anyone else all day. So it was just a normal day -- nothing exciting!! I did go out and treat myself to a steak and a drink. Thanks again!!!

Yep, I'm staying up until the clock strikes midnight!!!! Gotta enjoy it now while I can. Never know how many more I might have. If I live as long as my parents, I have at least 40 more of these!!!! I just hope that I'm in as good of condition as they are when I get 84.

Who does she play for? My cousin's daughter played in Sugar Land also this weekend for a team from Lake Jackson. She should be playing in the 8U division now I believe.

man 18, you are getting old... my daughter was 3 or 4 when we coached together... she is 12 and about to be a 7th grader:eek: , I am freaking out:( , but they all grow up... she has the slap down now and is a decent outfielder... arm not too strong though...
oh yeah, and we moved to Angleton so we play there

msu, time does fly doesn't it. I was still thinking she was about 8 or 9 and I thought that maybe she was on the same team as my cousin's daughter. We let her be our bat girl when we played at Lamar Consolidated this year and she might be up here for camp.

Tiger WR- we finished 20-14 and in 3rd place. Played Bryan tough in two losses and split with Belton. Lost in bi-district to Pflugerville 2-1 and 2-1. Played a really difficult schedule for the most part and I saw a lot of great things out of this team. Lose all 4 infield starters, but a lot of depth is returning.

it does... to think that she will be a 7th grader as I said scares me... we will be in Killeen playing the state tournament in June and will play the next few weekends in between before we take off until August... then start it back up again unless she makes the volleyball team... she is going to be in the first tee program this summer and she is also going to go to a tennis camp... we are going to let her try everything...

good to hear... like I said, i will be going to manvel next year...

Manvel? Are they playing a full varsity schedule in all sports next year? Drove by the school in January and it looks like a very nice school.

My picture was in the local fishwrap for a belated birthday yesterday, so we were at Ozona on the patio for a belated birthday party. Today, I think we'll have a belated 2nd day bash...

definitely not in football... but I think in some of the other sports they are starting to play varsity competitions eventhough they will have no seniors.... school and athletic facilities are awesome but of course the school is brand spanking new...
