I was wondering what ever happend to a couple of football players Robert Strait and Willie Mac Garza who set a lot of records ?

Robert made some very unfortunate life choices - I am not real sure what or where he is now. Really a shame :(

Robert has been living in Victoria.

Willie mack was coaching I believe in Freeport. Had an unfortunate incident that caused him a few problems a couple years ago but is fine now.

Read Willie Mac's bio and it says he was a 4 year starter from '92-'95 yet he says he was SWC all american in '88. Man he has alot of eligibility in college, huh? I know he ran 98 yards up the middle on us in '85 with 2 seconds on the clock to beat us as we were both 9-0 going into final district game. So some years are missing in his bio.
Robert is working in Cuero for one of the city council members.

Willie Mack graduated from Refugio in 88 so I don't think the UT years in his NDSU bio are correct.
