im probably gonna reach in the 'ol pocket and get one. while pricier, i hear the ps3 packs a punch and the BluRay is a plus! any suggestions?

Whichever one is cheaper. In this case it would be the Xbox 360.

we get that way here at my apt we have a couple of huge madden and ncaa tourneys every year and it usually gets rowdy

yeah we've been having tourneys since the 1st one on the genesis! its been a ritual every year since! now that all of us are grown up and moved away, ONLINE has helped keep some of our rivalries going!

i like the wii best out of all of them(then again ive only played wii sports :D ), ps3 is pretty sweet as well, xbox 360 is meh. since you dont care for the wii,....idk if its jsut me, but i really like the ps3

I bought a ps3 a month ago and it's worth every penny. I bought a new one on eBay for $500 so I saved about $150 over the price in store ($650 after tax).

Grand Theft Auto IV is coming out on 360 to, no reason to go out and get a ps3 for it.

I love my xbox 360...have never played a ps3, but I am really satisfied with my 360.

Once more games start rolling out for the PS3 i think it will outperform the other systems. It definitely has the potential, it's just not quite there yet. I say give it another year.

So how do you have the 360 hooked up to the laptop? Why not just run an ethernet cable from the router to the system?

Madden is the only game of those I have, got it free with the 360.

Gears of War is a must play, if you like racing get forza motorsport 2.

I have had mine since february, and in fast button situations I still think the X button is on the bottom not the left. I am used to the ps2.

Going from ps2 to 360 on ncaa took forever to learn. I have used the same controls since I first started playing NCAA 2003

you used A for turbo on defense even before they switched that setting to the default controls??

No, didn't have xbox back then. But on ps2 the controls were the same all the way up until 2005, then in 2006 they switched it up for NCAA and Madden. In 06 and 07 I used the "classic" controls settings.

Now on 360 there is only one setting, and you can't customize them to match how they used to be.

Gears of War sucks. It you want a decent shooter try Rainbow Six Las Vegas.

It's still a must play game, and you can probably find it for pretty cheap.

Doesn't matter anyway, when ncaa 08 comes out I will continue my reign as 3adownlow NCAA Football king.
