Rick Adelman? As much as I'd hate to see him go I'd like to see PJ Carlesimo get a shot at it. He can bring some of that Spurs mentality that everyone loves so much.;)

JVG is a very good coach, but doesn't have the personality to deal with NBA players. He is never sastified and doesn't do well at giving praise to his players. He also has a very big "dog house" which has kept many players from helping the Rockets. He is very good at coaching defense, but his offense is very vanilla and too structured.

I was hoping they would go with Mario Ellie (Junkyard dog). He would relate very well with the players and appears to be very knowledgeable about basketball.

Looks like Van Gundy found a new job real quick. Already on the broadcast team for the Suns game tonight!

coaching in the nba can take a toll on a person. i think jvg did a
great job. ming was out 30 games this season, yet he held the
team together and made the playoffs again. still a point guard
short of going to the big dance, and ming will never get any
quicker. good luck to jeff, and the next coach of houston. putting
up with the owner, alexander will be a full time job.

elie would be a good choice...

grab an assistant.......

go in a new direction.....

quit recycling these coaches.....

find a team.....spurs.....suns.....pistons......that you think has it figured out.....and look at their bench and see if anyone deserves a chance.

it's a player's league.....find a motivator.
