Coopers is great, but very pricey...

I am hungry now and I definitely need a beer... that will make the softball tournament this weekend very rough...

Man, now I'm Jonesin' for some Q, but tonight's date night with my spousal unit and it's her turn to pick the place (and pay the bill out of her tutoring money). Probably end up at Papadeaux's or something. /sigh/

If you come down to Corpus Christi and want some good Barbecue, I suggest Miller's on Leopard St in Annaville (West Corpus Christi). Best in the area IMO.

I judged BBQ at the Lee County fair this weekend and the ribs, Chicken and Brisket were great.

The city Meat market in Giddings is pretty good too..

I should have eaten at the City Meat Market before the Bellville/Giddings game last year but I settled for DQ. Giddings has the cleanest DQ ever
