Wow, Kirbyville is the only top ten rated team at the end of the season to survive. I hope they win, Holly Tankersley will make a great pitcher for the University of Louisiana-Lafayette next year...I think its kind of amusing- my team, Bridge City, can always claim that they beat one of the two state finalist, 12-1 on a 10-run rule for one of Kirbyville's two loses. Of course, Holly could not pitch that day!

This isn't 3A, but my alma mater (Coahoma - 2A) will be playing for state also. If I heard on the news correctly last night, their numero uno pitcher is freshman.

Things can really be big surprises, in 4A, Vidor lost to Castroville Median Valley 1-0. With Vidor's College level- Beaumont Blast pitching, I thought they were unstoppable...Also, we should all note, that Lindale came close to Kirbyvile, it is hard to score 4 on the Wildcats.
