Is he a future Hall of Famer? IMO he has the stats but he doesn't have the "it" factor that all of the Hall of Famers have. So I do not think he is a futur hall of famer.

think he's one of a dying breed of RBs who did all the carrying for their team...he probably gets in, but he's not on the same level as an Emmitt, Barry Sanders, or even Jerome Bettis.

I think is just depends who else is up for the HOF with him at the time. He was a pretty good back in his prime.

Alot of people haven't, one of the least known good players in the league I think.

First 10 seasons in the NFL has 1,000 yard, 0 last year and 735 the year before that. 14,000 total yards rushing, another 3329 receiving.

I have to say HOF'r. Guy was astonishingly durable and was always productive. He had a ton of carries in his career.

I think he'll get in. The guy was a tank.
Nothing too flashy but gave everything on every play.

I'm with you here. I never thought of him as a HOFer. A very good RB that has been very durable, but I have just never thought of him as a HOFer.

However, given that he has played much of his career in NY, he will probably get in.

The "It factor" doesn't matter much when it comes to the NFL HOF. If it did...then Irvin would've been in on his first try.

As far as Martin...he's in. Maybe not first ballot but he'll get in.

If Michael Irvin some how got in, the there is no way they can keep Curtis Martin out..

Bettis? He got a lot of pub when he came into the league (because of his size and the fact that he was the only thing worth watching on a pathetic team) and when he left, but I'd put Martin above Bettis.

Not a "top tier" guy like Walter Payton or Emmitt Smith, but definitely a HOFer IMO. He was always right there close to the top five rushers in the league, every year.
