View Full Version : Rockdale School Bond passes

The Rockdale School Bond passed last Saturday. The bond addresses issues at the existing three campuses and will also construct a new Pre-K-2 primary campus.

The High School will be expanded, with a new wing for classrooms, labs, cafeteria, band hall & a new Gym. Also the High School will receive a new front entrance that you will be able to see from HWY 79.

The Jr High will add a new wing and classrooms as well as upgrading some other areas.

The existing Elementary will be renovated and by removing half of the students to the new primary campus, this will eliminate overcrowding.

We are excited about the changes in Rockdale........

Congrats to all involved, especially the kids that will benefit from the new additions. Rockdale has needed a new gym for YEARS!!! Dogman, the new hoops coach is going to get them going!!!

Tiger Field is good for a 3a school. Baseball and new softball complex are nice. Gym is the worst of all the major sports.

I liked y'alls gym with the exception of the low ceiling.


Back in the day I like the rustic facilities moreso than the modernized ones. Creaky wooden floors were awesome.

You should go play in Milano's old high school gym if you want rustic!!!
