It is too late for this year Ad. They should have done that with Smith and that other guy from GS but Don faked them out with a fine.

I sure wish that they would've been suspended. Maybe then the Mavs wouldn't have lost so badly. :(

According to ESPN this morning...there has been no evidence provided to support that Stoudamire came running off the bench late in the game so the rumors on him getting a suspension might be just that.

the GS team fine levied by Nellie had no influence whatsoever on the NBAs decision not to suspend ...

I heard on Mike & Mike this AM that Stoudemire said he was just coming off the bench to report in & that the incident just happened at the same time

ya think?

That COULD make sense. If you assume that Nash is about to be fouled and going to the line...you would want Amare in there to rebound should Nash happen to miss. Now as to why he wasn't already in on defense??? Did he have 5 fouls??

I think Stoudamire is clear, but with Diaw it depends on the NBA's definition of "leaving the bench." Also between Horry, Bell, and Nash there were some punches thrown (none landed) so that will be interesting to see as well.

I just hope whatever happens that we don't see a lot of ticky tack touch fouls the rest of the series. I know we will but that really doesn't benefit either team and surely doesn't benefit the fans/viewers IMO.

I really like the physical style of play, all they need now is Mutumbo throwing elbows everywhere...

Maybe if it was regular season. Playoffs like this is what makes basketball exciting to watch.
