Rio Hondo 6 Cuero 4 That basehit look like it should have score the runner from 2nd base but good throw from left fielder was in there in time for the out. Think Cuero could have tied it up in that inning if runner had beaten the throw as that was the only inning where they got to Rio Hondo pitcher with some solid hits. Notice Gobblers used Sophmore pitchers they should be back strong next year. Rio Hondo will be a tough team to deal with for the Pirates.
