It's getting close again guys, so I think we should be homers and let everyone know how they think their team will do this fall.

I'll start, Sweetwater will be down a little this year but not out. Mustangs reload and compete this year.

Due to the district losing a lot of talent in Hutto and Cameron I see rockdale making the playoffs for the first time since 2004.

LH will roll everyone by 28+ in district.
Taylor/Rockdale will fight it our for the other two playoff spots.

Bandera will be pretty good this year under the new direction of Head Coach Larry Prince. Hes a mastermind on the defensive side.

I think we will be a little better on both sides of the ball this year.
But more so on offense. I also think we will stick to playing more 46 defense this year like we did last year except at the finals game. Saw more 10-1 there than I have in a while and it did work pretty good. Kept a good offensive team from really getting on a roll.

Ha Ha, you win the truth award. I dont think yall will score 84 on us again though. Other than the Panthers, I think G-ville will do good this year.

Come on where are the homers? I predict we will make it to the region finals again. probably win the semi's, and if that sounds
arrogant just remember we really do think that way in Celina.
We just have not lost that much in the last 50 years but especially in the last 20. And certainly in the last 138 games.
Only 5 losses, 3 of them to eventual state champs.

People must be busy because I know how many homers there are on this board who would be happy to praise their team. Come on out of the woodwork guys. I can't wait for some Snyder Tiggers to let us know how loaded they are going to be.:) :) :)

I think that Giddings wins district again.

We did lose Jarmon up the middle but I think that if we can show Locke at quarterback every now and then and pass say 6-7 times a game to keep the defense honest we could go deep in the playoffs again.

Homer present;

Tarpons IMO, will be making some real noise come playoff time, not just this year, but for at least the next three years!

32-AAA will represent well, this year too.

GO TARPONS GO!!!! GO BIG BLUE! SEAWALL DEFENSE!

Agreed, Esmy!

Port Isabel is pretty much bringing back the whole team off last year's Bi-District champion team, and the exciting thing is...the team will mostly be Sophs. and Juniors!

Some GREAT talent coming up through the ranks too, especially the group of Freshmen (Sophs next year).

Hey Esmy, can you post a link of the video of Joe Vega and the other video of the Freshman team highlights that are linked on the RGVSports.com site?

NEVERMIND! I took care of it!

Cameron is going to have a rough year meethinks. Hopefully not as bad as 1 and 9 but we shall see. But then again, I don't know any of the kids that are playing so maybe they have something I don't know about. thing is, if Hutto is down and we beat them, beating Rockdale is a given. A loss to them has only been one time since the 96 season and that one loss is when we went 1 and 9 and still only lost by like 3 points!

I think we are gonna have a new soph QB and two to three decent RBs. Only time will tell. We may only have 4 wins this year - only time will tell.
