Cuero's Lady Gobblers left little doubt what they wanted last week. The girls dropped La Feria in two games to advance to regional quarter-finals this week against Sinton.
The Lady Gobblers will face Sinton in one game which will be Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at Beeville High School. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and the Lady Gobblers will be the home team.

They ran over La Feria 8-0 in the first game and came back for a 14-3 win in the second contest.

The Lady Gobblers will face Sinton (28-5) in regional quarter-finals. Coach Cassie Fallon reports this Sinton team is a top 20 ranked team in 3A. Sinton defeated Lyford last week 10-0 and 7-4 to advance.

“We will have to be at the top of our game against them,” said Coach Fallon. ‘We are going to have produce offensively,” she added. She said Sinton has a solid offense and defense.

The winner of this play-off will face the winner of the Marion - Devine play-off. Good luck lady Pirates
