¡ö Honesty is best policy for Fossil Ridge senior: Keller Fossil Ridge senior Prisela Campbell (77-72¨C149) could have contended for the 4A individual medal if not for a two-stroke penalty she called on herself Monday. It changed a bogey 6 to a triple-bogey 8.
Campbell removed a twig near her ball without realizing she was in a hazard.
"I don't think anybody saw her do it," said Fossil Ridge coach Wilson Boaz, "but I'm so proud of her for calling it and doing the right thing."
Said Campbell, a TCU signee: "Golf is never fair."
Without the 2 stroke penalty, she would have shot 147...good for 2nd place.
