Last Friday

I left work early and had to stop and get gas, and this young guy (probably HS--I'm thinkin) stops and asks me if I know where Baskin's is. :confused:

I said, "What???"

"Baskin's," he replied.

5 seconds later I realized he wasn't talking about Baskin Robbins, because that is what I initially thought he was asking me about.

So I studdered like a dummy, and said, "OOOOHHHHH, Baskin's!!"

Having said that, living in Texas, let alone East Texas....most people know what a Baskin's is....except for me apparently. I went to Baskin's once in my existence, and that was to get my dad's tux for my wedding from there (because he didn't like the price at the tuxedo shop :rolleyes: (el cheapo's--gotta love'em)

I think he maybe thought I was slow...and I kick myself now for not saying, 'SORRY, I DON'T LISTEN TO COUNTRY!!!' :mad:

I realize now, that everybody and their mama must been heading out thataway for some Randy Rogers Band tickets. Again I say :confused: .

The last country I remember listening to was the Judds....oh wait, no...that is a lie. I listened to Shania Twain's debut album.

I love all BUT country. Go figure. :nerd:

My fave music would have to be trip-hop though. I love experimental music.

But when all else fails, put it on Lithium. And yes, the Toadies rock.

I used to listen to country, like non-stop it was INSANE!! I don't listen to any "new" country. Heck, I don't even listen to the radio anymore.

I do like some of Justin Timberlake's new tunes though :o haha

If I'm introduced to any new music it is usually from someone's myspace page and/or recommended. How sad is that? :(

When I make it to Dallas - I'll make sure to stop & visit! :D
