Moody-Calallen tickets go on sale Wednesday morning

Reserved tickets for this week’s highly anticipated Calallen-Moody baseball area playoff series go on sale at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Whataburger Field box office.

Tickets, which are $5 for adults, $2 for students and free for children 3 and under, will be sold for the first two games only Wednesday. Game 1 is 7 p.m. Thursday, and Game 2 is 7 p.m. Friday. A third game, if necessary, would be at 7 p.m. Saturday.

If a third game is necessary, tickets for Saturday’s game will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

This is the first time reserved seating has been used at a high school game. Sections 110-118 will be dedicated to the home team, while sections 120-128 will be sold to the visiting team.

On Thursday, Calallen is the home team, and Moody is the home team Friday.

The third game’s home team will be decided by a coin flip.

There will be no internet or phone sales for any of the games.

Whataburger Field parking is $4.

I'd love to but the Thursday-Friday-Saturday schedule sucks for me. I was hoping it would be Friday then two on Saturday if necessary. That way I could head down Friday evening and maybe see 2 games Saturday. As it is I think I'm gonna stay put.
