Girlfriend by Avril Lavrigne.

I actually changed sirius from Lithium to the Hits station this morning to catch up on new music (which I seldom do), and I heard this song.

Gay.

I can't decide if she is trying to be punk or what her deal is. I can say that it reminded me of the Go-Go's...which I was never a fan of theirs to begin with.

And not to mention it sounded like she should have been singing this back when she was 15-16 years old, and not the age she is now, which I believe is in the 20-21 year old range. Oh, and did I mention she is married now to that Sum 41 guy?

Maybe its just me, but this song is the sole reason why I stay away from the Hits station and mainstream music.

Hey Avril....you might want to get a real job, or be a stay at home wife because no one is ever going to take you serious with crap like that. Cept for maybe the teeny boppers.

:doh: I forgot about that.....it's probably been 20 years since I've gotten that far. I really don't like any Jethro Tull, just because of that one song.

I love anything by Tears for Fears, and I liked China Girl by David Bowie, but then I love all his crazy wacked out music....

I happen to love that song when you insert Crystalicious. Its on her LP, I guess you haven't heard it yet.
