If you have to pick 1 song as the greatest ever, what do you choose?

Mine is "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana

"Hey Jude" wasn't bad, but it wasn't even the Beatles' best record. That title would belong to McCartney's "Yesterday". (IMO, of course). The King's best was "Heartbreak Hotel".;)

That's an awesome song. One of my favorite songs of all-time of any genre. This song is a completely different genre, but I enjoyed hearing The Five Blind Boys of Alabama take that song by The Animals and use the lyrics to Amazing Grace in place of the original lyrics. One of the more beautiful renditions I've ever listened to of Amazing Grace.

I have that as my ringtone for when my gf calls.

She got mad at first then I explained that her butt was big and she got over it.

Beyond the palace.....hemi-powered drones
Scream down the boulevard
Girls comb their hair in the rearview mirrors
And the boys try to look so hard

The amusement park rises bold and stark
Kids are out on the beach in the mist
I want to drive with you Wendy on the streets tonight
In an everlasting kiss.....

Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run.

None better.

It's tough to say what the greatest song of all time is, but I did come across a steal (IMO) today at Wally-World; Clay Walker's Greatest Hits for $7. Something about his songs and the fact that the women love them.

You are a fine one to talk about overrated. Thats a horrible song.....horrible music movement.....horrible message. Of course music is all about opinions...thats just mine......not directed at you.....i just don't like the whole Nirvana bit.
