Pecos (T2) vs. Lubbock Cooper (W4)
Snyder (R3) vs. Fort Stockton (W2)
Perryton (R5) vs. Decatur (W8)
Bowie (T8) vs. Burkburnett (W6)
Fabens/Presidio vs. Andrews (W3)
Levelland (R4) vs. Clint (W1)
Iowa Park (R6) vs. Abilene Wylie (W7)
Sanger (R8) vs. Canyon (W5)

Any thoughts/predictions?

In the Area round I'll take Lubbock Cooper, Snyder, Decatur, Burkbernett, Andrews, Levelland, Abilene Wylie and Canyon.

Region Semis:
Snyder vs. Decatur
Abilene Wylie vs. Andrews

At least that's how I hope it turns out.:)

If anybody gets unlucky enough to have to play Bowie in a one game playoff, they will have to face UT signee and MLB draft prospect Brandon Workman. Throws 92mph with a hammer. Very tough to face.
Overall, Bowie's lineup doesn't put the fear in anybody, but when they have Workman on the mound he is dominating. Think he had something like 120+ K's over 65 innings this year.
Decatur, Abilene Wylie, Burk, Snyder, and Canyon are all strong teams out of Region I.

IMO...a one game series does not necessarily decide the best team. I wish they were all a three game series.
